Opening of Store No. 2,000 in Germany

A Milestone for Further Growth

The Eat Happy Group has reached a major milestone in Germany: On 25 August 2026, the company opened its 2,000th shop at the REWE Center, Flughafenstraße 7, in Griesheim, marking another significant achievement in its continued expansion.

As the market leader in shop-in-shop concepts in the ultra-fresh convenience segment, the company is continuously expanding its presence together with its retail partners, providing consumers throughout Germany with an even broader range of fresh food offerings. The current Eat Happy portfolio includes freshly prepared sushi, Asian-inspired bowls, street food specialties, and desserts.

Success Through Strong Partnerships

The opening of the 2,000th shop is not only a milestone for the Eat Happy Group, but also a testament to the successful collaboration with its retail partners and the strength of a concept that delivers fresh Asian convenience food directly to consumers’ everyday shopping destinations.

Sebastian Biener, Chief Sales Officer of the Eat Happy Group, emphasizes: “The opening of our 2,000th shop marks an important milestone for the Eat Happy Group. We are proud to celebrate this achievement together with REWE, a valued partner with whom we have built a strong and trusted relationship over many years. At the same time, this milestone inspires us to continue expanding our reach and bringing our freshly prepared products to even more consumers through grocery retail.”

Rewe also sees the partnership as a key success factor. “Eat Happy has been a trusted and valued partner for many years. Their shop-in-shop and freezer concepts perfectly complement our offering and are highly appreciated by our customers. We are pleased to celebrate the opening of the 2,000th shop together at our Rewe Center in Griesheim,” says Henning Opper, Chairman of the Management Board of Rewe Region Mitte.
