EAT HAPPY GROUP’s management team is being restructured. Florian Bell (41), previously CEO of EAT HAPPY Austria, has been appointed CEO of the group effective 1 May 2022. He succeeds the previous CEO Christian Kraft and will henceforth be responsible for the EAT HAPPY GROUP’s overall business.
Kraft, who founded the company in Cologne in 2013, is moving to the advisory board.
In his more than three years with the EAT HAPPY GROUP, Florian Bell has achieved notable success. As the CEO of EAT HAPPY Austria & Slovakia, he expanded the Austrian business to more than 1,000 chillers and around 45 in-store shops. Given his capacity as CEO of other country organisations, too, he is intimately acquainted with the group’s international business and has a long track record in the FMCG and food retail sectors.
“I’m delighted about the trust shown in me as the EAT HAPPY GROUP’s new CEO. I am excited to support the group, its management and all staff as we continue our exceptionally successful journey in Germany and abroad,” stated Florian Bell. “Our priorities are sustainable growth, innovation and outstanding service. We look forward to cementing our reputation as an innovative service provider and ultrafresh partner for the food retail industry.”
Founder Christian Kraft feels well prepared for switching from the day-to-day running of the business to the advisory board, where he will focus on the group’s strategic development.
“Florian Bell has demonstrated a profound understanding of our business and the group’s start-up culture, much of which remains in evidence today. He offers all the potential required to join our successful team in shaping the future of the EAT HAPPY GROUP,” commented Kraft.
Top management team reshuffle
EAT HAPPY’s top management team, too, is undergoing a reshuffle. Jan Fischer (31) is appointed Chief Financial Officer, while Dr. Jan Christoph Meyer (42) is the group’s new Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibility for the German business has been handed over to long-time executives Christian Jürgens (39) and Natascha Tessmann (55).
With this new management, the advisory board of the EAT HAPPY GROUP has prepared the ground for the successful continuation of its activities in Germany and abroad.
